Google CEO Mr. Sundar Pichai has announced that the company will invest approximately US$10 billion into developing infrastructure and funding digital innovation in India over the next few years. Mr. Tribhuvan Darbari, MD & CEO – Texmaco Defence & Chief Executive – Texmaco Rail & Engineering has lauded the initiative. Mr. Sundar Pichai made this announcement during the sixth edition of Google for India conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
According to Mr. Tribhuvan Darbari, “This initiative will help to leverage the power of technology to transform the lives of Indian farmers, youth and entrepreneurs. Google’s US$10bn investment through “Google for India Digitization Fund” shall be instrumental in giving a push to Prime Minister Modi’s vision & innovative programs.”
Mr. Darbari, in his tweet, said –
